Sanjay Kumar Pahuja is an income partner and joined the firm in June 2006. Since being called to the Ontario Bar in 2003, Sanjay has practiced in the areas of corporate and commercial law, and provides legal services to small and medium enterprises ranging from day-to-day operations to financing and acquisitions.
Sanjay has an established practice in both commerical and residential real estate transactional work. As a licensed New York attorney, Sanjay also has a limited practice in US business immigration.
Educational Background
Sanjay graduated from York University with a Masters in Political Science in 2001 after receiving his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2000. His Masters' Thesis focused on the convergence of Charter rights with international human rights in the extradition context.
After receiving his Masters degree, Sanjay interned with the Lawyer's Committee for Human Rights (now called Human Rights First) in New York City.
Memberships and Associations
Sanjay is a member of the Ontario Bar Association. He has been a member of the Board of Directors with several not-for-profit organizations, including an arts and culture organization and a supportive housing organization.
Community Involvement
Sanjay enjoys squash, running and chess.
