Sonya Diesberger is an associate with the firm specializing in civil litigation, including class actions. Sonya joined Rochon Genova LLP in 2006 as an articling student.
Educational Background
Sonya obtained her Honours Bachelor of Arts from Glendon College, York University in 2001, and her LL.B. from the Université de Moncton in 2006 and was called to the Bar in June of 2007.
During law school, Sonya volunteered for the Elizabeth Fry Society and conducted presentations on various legal subjects to medical interns.
Memberships and Associations
Sonya is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association and l'Association des juristes d'expression française de l'Ontario (AJEFO).
Community Involvement
Sonya currently volunteers for KidsFest, a non-profit organization promoting running and reading programs for children. In her free time, Sonya enjoys running, travelling and mountain climbing. She is fluent in English and French.
