Update – April 9, 2021 –

A proposed settlement in this action has been reached, which includes the creation of a $15.5 million CDN settlement fund that will be used to pay compensation to eligible Class Members as well as legal fees and other deductions. In order for the proposed settlement to be effective, it must first be approved by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. The motion for settlement approval is scheduled to take place virtually on May 11, 2021.
