Update – December 2, 2013 – Depuy Class Action

ROCHON | GENOVA LLP has joined with other class counsel to pursue a national class action against DePuy, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, regarding the DePuy ASR XL Acetabular Hip System and the DePuy ASR Hip Resurfacing System. The Ontario national class action, which was certified by order of Justice Belobaba of the Ontario Superior Court on August 27, 2013, is pursued on behalf of all persons in Canada, other than B.C. and Quebec, who have been implanted with these two products.

The class action alleges that these hip products have a flawed design, resulting in significant pain and the need for painful and premature revision surgeries.
