Canadian Hydroxycut Product Recall – May 5, 2009

ROCHON | GENOVA LLP is monitoring the recall of 11 Hydroxycut products announced today by the Canadian-based company Iovate Health Sciences Inc. The voluntary recall follows a warning issued May 1 by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (F.D.A.) that Hydroxycut products were associated with a number of serious liver injuries.

The following products sold in Canada are part of this recall: Hydroxycut Regular Rapid Release Caplets, Hydroxycut Caffeine-Free Rapid Release Caplets, Hydroxycut Hardcore Liquid Capsules, Hydroxycut Max Liquid Capsules, Hydroxycut Regular Drink Packets, Hydroxycut Caffeine-Free Drink Packets, Hydroxycut Hardcore Drink Packets (Ignition Stix), Hydroxycut Max Drink Packets, Hydroxycut Liquid Shots, Hydroxycut Max Aqua Shed Capsules, Hydroxycut 24 Caplets.
