Skyservice – Important Notice November 11, 2010
On November 10, 2010 this action was certified by the Superior Court of Justice as a class action lawsuit. A tentative settlement agreement has been reached with Skyservice. The settlement will entitle any passengers who suffered bodily injury to damages they have suffered as a result of their injury plus interest and payment of their subrogated OHIP claims. This settlement must be approved by the Superior Court of Justice before it can take effect. Some class members have already come to a tentative settlement with Skyservice, these will also be subject to settlement approval by the Court. A hearing to have this settlement approved will be heard on December 22, 2010. If you object to the settlement or wish to opt-out of the settlement, you must do so by submitting an objection or opt-out form to our firm by December 17, 2010. We have attached a copy of the Settlement Agreement, Notice of Certification and Settlement Approval as well as Opt-Out and Objection forms. All class members have been sent this notice by letter, which you should receive within the next two weeks.
